Being a DJ at My School in Korea

Twice a week I become a DJ at my school in Busan and play a pop song for the entire school at lunch time.  It gives the students a chance to hear me speaking in English as well as hearing some western pop music during their break.  The idea was originally from the former principal (who retired this year), and it has stuck.  Students actually approach me to play certain songs they know of.  How they know some of the groups and songs they know amazes me.  The world is getting smaller!

Here’s how it all comes together.
