When I wrote my first blog post, I wondered if anyone would read it. How would they even find it? Well, somehow they did. YOU did. Many thanks for stopping by my blog and supporting me with your many words of encouragement.
I’ve been fortunate over the years to have been recognized for my blogs and videos by some substantial and recognizable parties. The combination of feedback from all of you and these organizations has kept my fire alive (even during the down times), to keep moving forward with my work.
Again, thank you for all the support and much appreciated recognition of my work. I look forward to providing more informative and entertaining material about my life teaching English abroad in the future.
- “12 Judo YouTubers to Follow” by the International Judo Federation (2020)
Making judo videos is, without question, the stoker of my blogging flame. I can confidently say that I watch my own judo videos more than anyone else. I’m from the old days of “101 Judo Ippons” on VHS, so to receive a nod from the International Judo Federation media department in 2020 as being a YouTuber to follow, I wanted to do ukemi right there! Thank you, Mark Pickering, for making me a pick of the litter. - Teach Away “5 Teacher Blogs to Get You Excited About Teaching Abroad” (2017)
A very special thanks to Teach Away, Inc. for listing me as a “blog to get you excited about teaching abroad”. I’ve always mentioned Teach Away as one of the recruiting companies to use. They mentioned the Red Dragon Diaries as a source for hopeful teachers looking for someone who’s been there. Done that! - TeacherReady Online Certification Program “Teaching Internationally: Make It Your Next Experience” (2017)
